42nd Street

42nd Street is a musical that was performed for the first time in London in 1984 and subsequently became a long-term blockbuster. The musical is based on the book of the same name by Bradford Ropes and the filming of it from 1933.

42nd Street won both the Olivier Award and the Tony Award for Best Musical. The Broadway version from 2001 won the Tony Award for Best Revival.
